Bhopal : A hub of Institutions of National Importance

Over the length of time, Bhopal has witnessed a massive hike in its educational standards, which has made it house various educational and research institutes of national importance.

Students from far off places come here to study as Bhopal is a home to many Indian Institutes. In fact, it has the highest number of Institutions of national importance.

The list of these Indian Institutes and installations located in Bhopal include:

1. Engineering institutions– Bhopal is a  homestead to National Institute of Technology i. e,  Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal, founded in the year 1960 and 2017 respectively. It also has IISER Bhopal, founded in the year 2008 which is also a prestigious engineering institution.

1. Medical Institutions – Bhopal also headquarters All India Institute out of Medical Science AIIMS which was founded in the year 2012 and AIIMS Bhopal is ranked under top 10 AIIMS all over the country.

1. Law Institutions– National Law Institute University NLIU Bhopal founded in the year 1997, is a prestigious Law Institute and is one of the top and the best law institutions in the country.

1. Fashion institutions – National Institute of Fashion Technology NIFT Bhopal founded in 2008, is one of the latest additions to the existing NIFTs, all over the country.

1. Hotel Management institutions – Institute Of Hotel Management IHM Bhopal founded in the year 1980, is a well-known IHM and is ranked as the 3rd best IHM   among the IHMs in India.

Although these are considered as the institutions of primary concern,  Bhopal also hubs other Indian institutes, some of them being, Indian Institute of Forest Management, established in the year 1982, Indian Institute of Soil Science and National Institute of Journalism and Communication founded in the year 1982 and 1990 respectively.
